He is best known as the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc, and one of the greatest inventors of all time. Notable charity work include Apple’s participation in the Product Red program, to give profits from sales to charity. Apple has gone on to become the largest contributor to the charity since its initial involvement with it. The chief of the Product Red project, singer Bono cited Jobs saying there was “nothing better than the chance to save lives,” when he initially approached Apple with the invitation to participate in the program. Jobs’ inventions have changed the ways the world looks at technology, and he was an inspiration to all.
